Menu, week of 10/22-10/28

I moved to Ohio less than a week after my bridal shower, and only brought what I could fit in my not-so-big car. This was really sad, because some of the great gifts I got weren’t able to make the trip to Ohio. A few times a week, Kevin will say something along the lines of, “We really should get a [blank]”–to which I almost always respond with, “Oh, we have one, it lives in Connecticut.”  The crock pot was one of the things whose absence he felt the most. Well, lucky Kevin, the crock pot packed itself up in a box last week and took the UPS train out to Ohio. Today we set it up for the first time, and made Salsa Chicken from the recipe that Brenna gave me with the crock pot.  It has been hard waiting all day for dinner when it smells this good!

This week’s menu:
Saturday, 10/22: pizza, Cheesecake-Filled Pumpkin Cupcakes
Sunday, 10/23: Salsa Chicken, Gingerbread
Monday, 10/24: leftover chicken
Tuesday, 10/25: Tangy Walnut Crusted Cod with Sauteed Greens
Wednesday, 10/26: leftover cod, dessert TBA
Thursday, 10/27: pork tenderloin and green bean casserole
Friday, 10/28: leftover pork
